My film campaign on Kickstarter is LIVE!

I'm so thrilled about being able to put this project on Kickstarter to help get the funding I need to finish up my film. So far even in the first day I'm already up to $340 and lots of people are talking about it online. I'm so pumped about what the future holds for this campaign, I know there are so many in the future that will be glad to have this historical document to show the artists and art world of today and how they lived and worked.

Please share this with all your friends too. Get the word out there and let the world know about this monumental documentary on modern art.

Quote for the Day. 01-07-2012

Thanks to a colleague Matthew Allen. I was introduced to this wonderful quote by the great painter Helmut Federle.

‎"I see it more in an Asian way, that I, as an artist, don’t have to invent something, I just go down the same path as everybody else, and make distinctions in my period, my time. References are warm and beautiful energies. I am part of a history and not a statement of the moment. In the end I’m not doing something different than what Giacometti or Kandinsky did. In my opinion, an artist is always doing the same thing. The values are spiritual, philosophical, it’s always the question “Why are we here?” “Where are we going?” “What is it?” “What is an existence?”

Thanks Matthew for introducing me to this wonderful quote.
