I got a phone call on Tuesday from my good friend Francine Tint. She and I love to chat and talk painting and life. Sometimes it's a great news day. Like Tuesday when she rang me up. And because of another matter that had come up the day before I was not ready to receive it as I should have. But it sure was wonderful for a friend to call to congratulate you on something you don't even know about yet. She was calling to tell me about my inclusion in the monthly Drawing Challenge that Jason McCoy Gallery on East 57th Street in NYC has been doing since last year. It's really been a cool way to bring others into their radar. I didn't even know if people were going to be notified. But It's old school the way I had come to be most enjoyed in my notifications from others. Funny thing is just yesterday I found out my notification might not have happened at that day had it not been for our mutual friend Arleen Joseph (whom is also an artist in this particular Drawing Challenge with us) that called Francine. I love the old school ways of keeping in touch. Kinda wish people were more old school in their desires to really connect deeper with others. There's nothing like anothers voice in conversation.

Here's the screencapture of their website.
I chose to enter this painting from May. It's such a wonderful painting filled with everything the eye needs to enjoy itself. Looking forward to sharing the new paintings as soon as I get them photographed.
Thanks to Jason McCoy for this exposure. I truly appreciate it and wish you all a wonderful week!
